TreeTrack is pleased to announce that it has entered into a contract with Canfor, one of Canada’s leading integrated forest products and lumber companies, to support post-wildfire reforestation efforts using TreeTrack’s UAV-deployed Seedpod technology.

Under this agreement, TreeTrack will carry out aerial Seedpod deployment over a wildfire-affected area located north of Prince George, British Columbia. The planting operation is scheduled for spring 2026, with final details regarding planting area, deployment density, and volume to be confirmed as site planning and permitting progress.
Canfor’s selection of TreeTrack reflects a growing recognition within the forestry sector that scalable, technology-enabled reforestation solutions are increasingly critical as wildfires become more frequent, larger in scale, and more complex to remediate. By integrating UAV deployment with Seedpod technology, TreeTrack enables rapid planting across challenging and remote terrain while improving operational safety and efficiency compared to conventional ground-based methods.
TreeTrack’s solution is designed to complement traditional reforestation practices by extending planting capacity into areas that are steep, inaccessible, or unsafe for crews, while providing robust monitoring and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. This capability is particularly relevant for forest licensees and land managers seeking resilient, cost-effective approaches to post-disturbance forest recovery.

This contract represents a meaningful commercial milestone for TreeTrack and further validates the company’s technology in an operational, industry-led context. The project also underscores the growing role of innovation in supporting sustainable forest management, climate resilience, and long-term regeneration across Canada’s working forests.

TreeTrack looks forward to collaborating closely with Canfor on this project and to sharing outcomes and insights as the planting progresses.
